I understand your poi...Thank you for the response. I understand your point of view which is common these days. I tend to think that individual investors have an advantage over hedge funds and institutional investors, PE firms, sovereign wealth funds etc... Most people think the game is rigged and it's impossible to win, but I think the opposite is true. Those institutions shoot themselves in the foot and kill themselves trying to outdo each other making more money over the short term. It's a performance game. Individuals don't have to play that game and to that extent, it's a huge, huge advantage. I can say this for sure because I have worked at banks and one of the top hedge funds. Thanks for the idea; I think I will make this a topic for a future post!
